Real Estate Development & Design Manager

We are seeking a Real Estate Development & Design Manager with a strong architectural or engineering background and 7–10 years of experience in real estate development.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in feasibility studies, design management, value engineering, master planning and consultant management, with the ability to oversee the technical aspects of real estate development projects from initial concept through design development and execution coordination.

Key Responsibilities

1. Feasibility Studies & Real Estate Development:Conduct and review technical feasibility studies for new real estate development projects.Assess site development potential, technical requirements, project risks and development opportunities.Coordinate with commercial and financial teams to evaluate project viability.2. Design Management & Master Planning:Manage architectural and engineering design activities from concept to detailed design.Oversee master planning for residential, commercial and mixed-use developments.Ensure designs align with development objectives, project budgets and applicable regulations.Coordinate design approvals and resolve technical design issues.3. Value Engineering:Identify and implement value engineering opportunities.Optimize design solutions, construction materials and technical specifications.Collaborate with cost consultants to achieve cost efficiency without compromising quality.4. Consultant Management:Manage external architectural, engineering and master planning consultants.Prepare and review consultant scopes of work and technical proposals.Monitor consultant performance, deliverables, design quality and project schedules.Coordinate between consultants, contractors and internal development teams.5. Project Development & Technical Coordination:Oversee technical development activities across assigned real estate projects.Support project planning, tender preparation and technical evaluations.Monitor design milestones, budgets and technical risks.Ensure effective coordination between development, design and construction teams.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.7–10 years of relevant professional experience.Proven experience in real estate development, preferably within a real estate developer.Strong practical experience in feasibility studies, design management and master planning.Demonstrated experience in value engineering and cost optimization.Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering and architectural consultants.Experience with residential, commercial or mixed-use real estate projects.Knowledge of Saudi building regulations and real estate development requirements is preferred.Core Competencies:Real Estate Development.Technical Feasibility Studies.Design Management.Master Planning.Value Engineering.Consultant Management.Architectural & Engineering Coordination.Technical Project Management.Cost Optimization.
