Position Summary:The Receiving Representative is responsible for accurately and efficiently receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming materials, components, and equipment used in the production of industrial liquid filtration systems. This role ensures all inbound shipments are verified, documented, and stored in accordance with company procedures, supporting smooth production and on-time delivery to customers. This role also assists with shipping by ensuring all outgoing products are packaged, documented, and shipped accurately, safely, and in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities:Receive and unload incoming shipments of raw materials, components, and purchased parts.Verify contents of shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and bills of lading.Inspect incoming materials for damage, defects, or quantity discrepancies; report issues promptly to Purchasing or Quality.Accurately record receipts in the company’s ERP or inventory management system.Label and route materials to appropriate storage locations or production departments.Maintain organized receiving areas and ensure proper handling and storage of materials to prevent damage or contamination.Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve delivery or documentation issues.Support cycle counts, physical inventories, and continuous improvement initiatives related to warehouse accuracy.Assist shipping representatives as needed by preparing, packaging, and labeling filtration systems, housings, and related parts for domestic and international shipment; verify outgoing shipments against sales orders, pick lists, and shipping documentation to ensure accuracy; create and manage shipping documentation; schedule shipments with freight carriers, couriers, and logistics providers to meet customer delivery requirements.Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment as needed.Comply with all company safety policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality standards (ISO/AS or equivalent).Maintain updated and correct information in ERP system (MAPICS XA) and Paperless.Other duties as assigned by management.Qualifications:At least 2 years of receiving experience within manufacturing required; shipping experience highly preferredHS Diploma or GED requiredExperience maintaining up to date information in ERP systemsExperience operating forklifts, pallet jacks and other material-handling equipmentMust be able to safely lift, move, and load materials or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
