Apply & track with Apply EdgeJOB TITLE: Reception/FoHDEPARTMENT: OperationsREPORTS TO: Area ManagerHOURS: 37.5 p/w, Monday to Friday, 2:30PM-10:00PMSALARY: £15.50 p/hLOCATION: London, Covent Garden (client site)ABOUT USWe are Sidekick Group – the UK's fastest growing facilities management company and one of the Sunday Times 100 Fastest Growing Companies in the UK.We provide our clients with a competitive advantage through operational excellence, technology and innovation, organising ourselves around people and data to create work environments that optimise productivity, team spirit and wellbeing.Our mission is to foster and maintain work environments that have the greatest positive impact on our clients’ businesses, people and communities, and the planet we all share.We are a purpose-led, community-minded and people-centric business and a certified B Corp – a young company shaking up an old industry through our determination not only to grow, but to grow in the right way.PURPOSE OF ROLEThe Reception / Front of House team member is responsible for providing a professional, welcoming, and efficient reception service to employees, visitors, contractors, and clients.The role is an important first point of contact for everyone arriving on site and requires someone who is confident, approachable, organised, and able to provide excellent customer service at all times.Working closely with the Front of House, Facilities, housekeeping, and wider client teams, the role will support the smooth day-to-day operation of the reception area and assist with visitor management, deliveries, access requirements, and general site queries.The successful candidate will be proactive and professional, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm and helpful in a busy corporate environment.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESProvide a professional, welcoming, and helpful reception service to employees, visitors, contractors, and clients.Manage visitor arrivals and ensure visitors are directed to the appropriate person or location.Manage visitor sign-in and sign-out procedures and maintain accurate records.Support contractors and service providers with site access and ensure relevant procedures are followed.Liaise with Facilities, Front of House, housekeeping, and other site teams regarding visitors, access, deliveries, and general site requirements.Monitor expected visitors and deliveries and ensure the relevant teams are informed promptly.Receive, record, and distribute deliveries and packages in accordance with site procedures.Manage incoming mail and newspapers and ensure they are distributed appropriately.Use Microsoft Teams and site contact information to notify employees when their visitors arrive.Assist employees and visitors with general queries, directions, and site information.Maintain a clean, tidy, organised, and professional reception area at all times.Monitor reception supplies and shared facilities and report any issues or shortages promptly.Support scheduled deliveries and ensure they reach the appropriate teams.Maintain accurate records of visitors, deliveries, and packages received at reception.Support building procedures and scheduled site activities when required.Communicate effectively with colleagues and provide clear handovers at the end of each shift.Work collaboratively with the wider Front of House and facilities teams to ensure a consistently high level of service.Carry out any other reasonable duties required to support the smooth operation of the client site.ABOUT YOUWe are looking for someone who:Has previous experience in reception, Front of House, hospitality, customer service, or a similar role.Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Presents themselves in a professional and approachable manner.Is confident dealing with visitors, employees, contractors, and clients.Is highly organised and has excellent attention to detail.Can remain calm and professional when dealing with busy periods or unexpected situations.Is proactive and takes pride in delivering a high standard of customer service.Is comfortable using Microsoft Teams and standard computer systems.Works well independently while also being a strong team player.Has a flexible and helpful approach to their work.WHAT WE OFFER£15.50 per hour37.5 hours per weekMonday to FridayWorking hours: 2:30pm – 10:00pmProfessional and supportive working environmentOpportunities to develop within a growing facilities management organisationThe opportunity to work with a people-focused and purpose-led company
