Receptionist & Security Officer

Job Purpose:To act as the primary face of the residential compound by welcoming residents and visitors with a high level of professionalism, while ensuring the highest standards of safety and security for the compound's entrances and facilities. This includes accurately monitoring entry and exit movements, and safeguarding the security and safety of properties and residents around the clock.2. Key Duties and Responsibilities:Reception and Resident Services:Welcome residents, visitors, and service providers with a smile and a professional, friendly manner at the main gate or reception desk.Respond to inquiries from residents and visitors whether in person, via phone, or through the intercom system.Manage and organize the entry of visitors and contractors, verify their identities, and log their data in accordance with compound policies.Receive emergency requests or feedback from residents and immediately forward them to the relevant department for follow-up.Security and Safety Duties:Monitor entry and exit gates and prevent any unauthorized persons or vehicles from entering.Monitor CCTV screens, inspect any suspicious movements, and report them immediately.Handle emergency situations (such as fires, injuries, accidents, or security issues) promptly and effectively, and immediately notify the relevant authorities and management.Write regular periodic reports on incidents, observations, and entry/exit traffic during the shift (Shift Report).3. Requirements and Qualifications:Experience: Good experience in security or customer service. Previous work experience within residential compounds or hotels is preferred.Personal Skills:Excellent communication skills and professional interaction with various nationalities.High ability to exercise self-control and deal firmly yet calmly under pressure (during emergency or difficult situations).Physical fitness and the ability to stand for long periods or perform field patrols.Languages: Proficiency in spoken and written English to communicate with foreign residents in the compound.Additional Skills: Basic computer literacy.4. Working Conditions and Language:Work System: Shift-based work (Morning and Evening), including weekends and holidays according to the compound schedule.Appearance: Strict adherence to wearing the compound's official uniform and maintaining a professional and neat appearance throughout the shift.
