ReceptionistLondon | £35,000–£40,000 | Full-time | Office basedMonday–Friday | Rotating shifts: 8.00am–5.00pm or 9.00am–6.00pmWe are supporting a highly regarded investment firm in the appointment of a Receptionist to join their London office.This is a true front-of-house role for someone who takes real pride in creating an exceptional first impression. You’ll be part of a small, close-knit reception and administration team and will play a key role in welcoming senior visitors, investors and stakeholders to the firm.Reception is an important and highly valued function within the business, so this opportunity would particularly suit someone who genuinely enjoys front-of-house work and sees reception as a long-term career.The role will involve:Meeting and greeting clients, visitors and colleagues in a warm, confident and professional mannerEnsuring the reception area is consistently organised, welcoming and representative of the firmAnswering and directing incoming callsCoordinating meeting room bookings, resolving diary clashes and arranging AV set-upWorking closely with the wider administration team to coordinate meetings and ensure rooms are preparedArranging refreshments in conjunction with the catering teamManaging incoming and outgoing post, couriers and deliveriesSupporting office management tasks, including stationery ordering and stock controlLiaising with building management and external suppliersSupporting office health and safety requirements, including acting as a Fire Warden and First Aider, with training provided where requiredAssisting with ad hoc administration and wider office projectsWe’re looking for someone with:Previous reception or front-of-house experience within a corporate or professional services environmentA warm, composed and confident manner, including when managing a busy receptionExcellent verbal communication skills and a natural ability to engage with people at all levelsStrong organisation skills and excellent attention to detailConfidence interacting with senior stakeholders, clients and external visitorsA discreet and trustworthy approachA proactive, team-focused mindset and willingness to support wherever neededConfidence using Microsoft Outlook and general office systemsThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Receptionist who enjoys being at the heart of an office and understands the importance of delivering a consistently high standard of service.
