As our receptionist, you’ll play an important role in creating a positive patient experience while keeping the front desk running smoothly.You’ll be joining an experienced and supportive team in the heart of New Farm, close to Brisbane CBD, with cafés, shops and free street parking right on your doorstep.If you’re confident working with people, enjoy staying organised and are keen to learn, we’d love to hear from you.Job DescriptionYour responsibilities will include:Welcoming patients and providing a warm, professional first impressionManaging appointments, patient enquiries and reception dutiesAnswering phone calls and assisting patients with their questionsProcessing payments and assisting with general administrative tasksMaintaining accurate patient records and keeping the front desk organisedWorking closely with our clinicians and wider team to ensure the day runs smoothlyUsing Oasis practice management software and MS Office to support day-to-day operationsProviding friendly and professional service throughout every patient interactionQualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will bring:Previous reception or customer service experienceDental experience is highly desirable, but not essentialFamiliarity with Oasis PMS would be an advantageExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organisation and attention to detailThe ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environmentA friendly, approachable and patient-focused attitudeA willingness to learn and support the wider practice teamFlexibility to work some late nights until 7:00pm and Saturday mornings when requiredAdditional InformationWhy join Maven Dental New Farm?Maven Dental New Farm is more than just a dental practice.
