Manager or Senior Recruiter who wants to play a central role in building the team behind a fast-growing AI company.You will work closely with founders, hiring managers and senior leadership to identify, attract and hire exceptional talent across software engineering, artificial intelligence, machine learning, product, data and other business-critical functions.This is not simply a role focused on managing inbound applications.You will be expected to proactively identify outstanding candidates, develop talent pipelines, advise hiring managers, improve recruitment processes and help shape the company's long-term hiring strategy.The position is particularly suited to recruiters who enjoy working in fast-moving startup or scale-up environments where they can take ownership of hiring projects and have a direct impact on company growth.⸻The RoleAs a Talent Acquisition Manager, you will take ownership of multiple hiring processes across the organisation while helping build a scalable and high-quality recruitment function.You will work closely with leadership and hiring managers to understand hiring requirements, define candidate profiles and develop effective sourcing and recruitment strategies.A significant part of the role will involve proactively identifying and engaging high-quality candidates, particularly across technical and AI-related positions.Typical ResponsibilitiesOwn end-to-end recruitment processes across technical and non-technical rolesPartner closely with founders, leadership and hiring managers to define hiring requirementsDevelop sourcing strategies for difficult-to-fill and highly competitive positionsProactively identify and engage candidates through LinkedIn, professional networks, communities and other sourcing channelsBuild strong talent pipelines across software engineering, AI, machine learning, data, product and commercial functionsConduct initial interviews and candidate qualificationManage candidates throughout the interview and offer processDeliver an excellent candidate experience from first contact through to onboardingAdvise hiring managers on market conditions, compensation, candidate availability and recruitment strategyWrite and optimise job descriptions and recruitment messagingDevelop employer branding initiatives to strengthen the company's visibility within relevant talent marketsTrack hiring metrics and identify opportunities to improve recruitment performanceHelp improve interview processes, scorecards and hiring standardsSupport workforce planning as the organisation continues to growBuild relationships with relevant technology communities, universities, networks and industry organisationsWork with recruitment agencies and external partners where appropriateHelp establish scalable recruitment processes and systemsContribute to broader people and organisational initiatives as the company grows⸻What We're Looking ForStrong candidates will typically bring several of the following:Strong professional experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruitment or Technical RecruitmentExperience managing end-to-end hiring processesDemonstrated success sourcing and hiring highly skilled candidatesExperience recruiting for software engineering, AI, machine learning, data, product or other technical rolesStrong direct sourcing and candidate outreach skillsExperience working closely with hiring managers and senior leadershipStrong understanding of recruitment processes, candidate assessment and interview managementAbility to manage multiple hiring processes simultaneouslyExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsStrong organisational and stakeholder-management abilitiesA proactive and highly independent working styleExperience using applicant tracking systems, sourcing platforms and recruitment technologyStrong understanding of candidate markets and compensation trendsAbility to operate effectively in a fast-moving and changing environmentExperience working within an AI company, technology startup, software business or high-growth scale-up would be particularly valuable.Experience recruiting internationally or across
