قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجReferral Navigator | Healthcare Care Coordination & Referral Processing 📍 Las Vegas, NV, USA | 💼 Full-Time | 🕒 Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–5:00 PMAbout the RoleWe are seeking a Referral Navigator to support patient access to specialist care by managing, processing, and coordinating medical referrals within a healthcare network.This role ensures patients are efficiently connected to the right specialists by validating referral documentation, managing workflows, and coordinating across primary care providers, specialists, and internal care teams.You will play a key role in improving care continuity, referral accuracy, and patient access to timely treatment.Key ResponsibilitiesReferral Processing & CoordinationBuild and process new referrals from primary care providersReview referral documentation for completeness and accuracyReturn incomplete referrals for additional informationCancel or escalate referrals that do not meet criteriaForward complex or unclear cases for medical reviewDetermine appropriate routing (internal, external, overflow, or outsource providers)Administrative & Documentation ManagementHandle high volumes of paperwork, faxing, scanning, and electronic documentationMaintain accurate records within electronic medical systemsEnsure referral workflows meet compliance and timeliness standardsSupport scheduling and coordination of specialist appointmentsPatient & Provider CommunicationCommunicate with providers, clinics, and internal teams via phone and electronic systemsProvide updates and clarification regarding referral statusEngage in direct patient interaction when requiredMaintain professional, clear communication across all touchpointsWork EnvironmentPrimarily desk-based, computer-heavy role (>90% system work)High volume of phone and documentation handlingDirect interaction with patients and healthcare providersStructured weekday schedule (no weekends)RequirementsEssentialHigh school diploma or GED2+ years experience in a healthcare-related environmentExperience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or practice management systemsAbility to obtain CPR certification within 30 days of hireStrong communication and telephone etiquette skillsPreferredExperience as a Medical Assistant or in clinical support rolesFamiliarity with referral management or care coordination workflowsBilingual (English/Spanish) is an advantageCore SkillsStrong attention to detail and documentation accuracyAbility to manage high-volume administrative workflowsEffective communication with patients and clinical teamsProblem-solving in referral routing and eligibility decisionsAbility to work independently in a structured environmentStrong organisational and multitasking abilityWhy This Role?Direct impact on patient access to specialist healthcare servicesExposure to clinical operations, referral systems, and EMR workflowsOpportunity to build a career in healthcare administration or care coordinationStructured training and clear daily processes in a supportive team environment
