The Fleet Manager is responsible for overseeing all transportation operations and fleet logistics across megasites in the region. This role leads the coordination of equipment movement between locations, manages driver scheduling and third-party hauling partners, and ensures efficient, safe, and cost-effective transportation processes. The Fleet Manager serves as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, proactively resolving challenges and optimizing fleet performance.Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PMPrimary ResponsibilitiesOversee daily fleet operations, including scheduling and dispatching of regional drivers and coordination of third-party hauling servicesLead communication with branch managers, drivers, and external vendors to ensure seamless equipment transportation between locationsNegotiate and manage vendor relationships and hauling costs to maintain budget efficiencyProactively identify, address, and resolve transportation challenges to meet delivery timelinesDevelop and implement processes to improve operational efficiency, cost control, and service qualityReview, approve, and manage purchase orders related to transportation and logisticsEnsure all transportation activities meet safety standards and regulatory requirementsMaintain a high level of customer service for both internal teams and external customersTrack and analyze fleet performance metrics, identifying opportunities for continuous improvementWhy EquipmentShare?Because we do things differently — and we think you’ll feel it from day one.
