Apply & track with Apply EdgeRole Overview The Regional Accountant plays a key role in supporting the Finance Manager by managing end-to-end accounting operations across assigned countries. This position ensures accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, and timely month-end close, while supporting budgeting, audits, and internal controls. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, multi-country environment. Key Responsibilities Accounting Operations Manage full spectrum of end to end accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and fixed assets Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and intercompany transactions Financial Reporting & Compliance Prepare monthly financial reports and reconciliations in accordance with local GAAP and group policies Support statutory filings, tax submissions, and external audits Ensure compliance with local tax laws, regulatory requirements, and internal controls Budgeting & Forecasting Assist in the preparation of various budgets and rolling forecasts Monitor actuals vs budget, investigate variances, and provide commentary Process Improvement & Systems Support implementation and enhancement of financial systems and processes Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve reporting accuracy Business Support Collaborate with HR, Operations, and other departments to ensure accurate cost allocation and financial alignment. Support office administration and finance operations across all countries, including local HR matters in Thailand. Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making and regional initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is an advantage Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a regional or multi-entity setup Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and statutory compliance in [insert relevant countries] Proficient in Excel and accounting systems (Business Central experience will be advantageous) Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple deadlines Strong communication skills and ability to work across cultures and time zones
