Regional Asset Manager – MEP / FacilitiesAbout the OpportunityBoden Talent is partnering with our client, a global leader in commercial real estate and integrated facilities services, to recruit an experienced Regional Asset Manager to support a major global integrated account.This role will take ownership of the governance, accuracy, and continuous improvement of MEP asset data across a multi-site regional portfolio. Working closely with regional engineering leadership, site teams, third-party service partners, project teams, and the end client, the Regional Asset Manager will ensure asset information provides a reliable foundation for maintenance strategy, lifecycle planning, capital investment, and compliance reporting.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who combines a strong understanding of MEP engineering and facilities asset management with expertise in data governance, CMMS platforms, lifecycle planning, and operational improvement.What You'll DoAsset Management & Data GovernanceOwn and maintain the regional MEP asset register, ensuring information remains accurate, current, and accessible across the portfolio.Establish the asset register as a reliable single source of truth across the Common Data Environment (CDE), CMMS, and associated document management platforms.Conduct regional asset maturity assessments and develop standardized scorecards across countries, sites, and asset groups.Implement quality control processes to improve the accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness of asset information.Ensure asset data follows agreed global standards covering naming conventions, asset hierarchies, templates, and O&M documentation.Identify gaps in asset information and coordinate remediation activities with engineering teams and third-party service providers.Operational IntegrationEmbed asset data management into day-to-day regional engineering and maintenance operations.Work with engineering leads and site teams to improve asset validation, condition assessments, maintenance history, and work order data.Drive adoption of asset management technology and mobile applications among field engineering teams.Ensure planned maintenance information within the CMMS is standardized, accurate, and capable of providing meaningful asset performance insights.Govern asset data handovers following capital projects, minor works, equipment replacements, and site changes.Support forward maintenance and engineering planning using asset condition and lifecycle information.Capital & Lifecycle PlanningProvide asset condition, age, criticality, and maintenance history data to support regional capital planning.Contribute to annual capital budget submissions and longer-term investment strategies.Develop regional asset insights including equipment age profiles, condition summaries, maintenance cost trends, and replacement forecasts.Identify critical, high-risk, and end-of-life MEP equipment requiring future investment.Provide engineering teams with data-driven recommendations to support short- and long-term capital planning.Maintain appropriate change-control processes to protect the lifecycle integrity of asset information.Systems, Data & ReportingSupport the regional asset management technology environment, including CMMS platforms, asset applications, Power BI dashboards, CDE platforms, and asset databases.Produce regular asset quality and performance reporting for regional leadership.Track data completeness, asset condition coverage, technology adoption, and outstanding remediation activities.Support SLA reporting and ensure regional data submissions are accurate, timely, and consistent.Participate in CMMS implementation, migration, and continuous improvement programs.Contribute to the development and testing of Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and other digital asset management solutions.Stakeholder ManagementAct as a regional subject matter expert for engineering asset management.Provide practical guidance to engineering teams, project managers, service partners, and other stakeholders regarding asset standards, processes, and technology.Build strong working relationships across a complex, multi-site and matrixed organization.Represent the asset management program in regional engineering and governance meetings.Support regional leadership with asset information for client reporting, engineering reviews, risk management, and governance forums.Collaborate with other regional and global Asset Managers to share best practices and improve consistency across the wider portfolio.What You'll NeedMinimum 5 years of relevant experience within FM engineering, technical operations, or asset management.Strong understanding of MEP engineering assets, including lifecycle management, condition assessment, maintenance strategies, and asset data governance.Experience managing asset information across multi-site or regional portfolios.Hands-on experience with CMMS platforms such as Maximo or equivalent, including planned maintenance, work orders, and asset data quality.Familiarity with Common Data Environments (CDE), BIM workflows, and technical document management systems.Experience improving asset data quality and driving consistent processes across engineering teams and third-party service providers.Understanding of capital planning and how asset condition, lifecycle, and maintenance information can support investment decisions.Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify data issues, determine root causes, and implement practical solutions.Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence teams without direct line management responsibility.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, with Power BI experience highly desirable.Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, or similar low-code platforms would be advantageous.Understanding of SLA management and reporting within an FM environment would be beneficial.Experience supporting financial services, banking, critical environments, or similarly complex corporate real estate portfolios would be advantageous.Ability to travel regionally for site visits and stakeholder meetings when required.Qualifications Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Asset Management, or a related discipline preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience.IAM Certificate in Asset Management or equivalent qualification is desirable.Experience supporting a CMMS implementation, migration, or asset data improvement program would be advantageous.Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements within an FM engineering environment.NEBOSH or equivalent qualification is desirable.Membership of, or progress toward membership of, a relevant professional organization such as CIBSE, IAM, IET, or IMechE would be beneficial.The OpportunityThis position
