This role is essential to ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and supporting our mission of compassionate care. Must live in one of the two listed territories: Austin or Dallas, this is not a remote position. You thrive in a mission-driven environment and are passionate about supporting hospice operations through leadership and compliance excellence.What You’ll Be DoingSupervise administrative staff where applicableMaintain and audit personnel files for completeness and accuracyManage contracts with facilities, physicians, agencies, and vendorsProcess bi-weekly payroll for hospice office(s)Ensure site compliance with OSHA safety and emergency preparedness regulationsEnter payable invoices into Yardi for approval and timely paymentParticipate in site leadership meetings and Quality Improvement initiativesMaintain accurate records and accounting of petty cash; process monthly into YardiMaintain site organizational charts and rostersEnsure updated licenses and credentials for compliance with Silverado policy and CMS Conditions of ParticipationAssist with HR activities including onboarding, leave requests, workers’ compensation, recognition, coaching, and terminationsOrder office and associate suppliesPartner with Administrator and billing team on billing oversightEnsure employee educational pathways are completedRespond to urgent or time-sensitive matters outside scheduled hours as neededPerform other related duties as assignedThis position will also assume Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) Duties only to sites where hospice census falls below the designated threshold, responsibilities include, serving as liaison between the Director of Patient Care Services and Patient Care Managers, managing IDG schedules and agendas, monitoring patient visit frequencies, ordering medical supplies, distributing triage reports, and performing other PCC-related duties until census supports staffing the PCC role as a separate full-time position.QualificationsBachelor’s degree preferredMust be able to travel once a month to other corporate site location (Austin/ Dallas)Administrative experience in hospice, palliative care, or related healthcare fields preferredReliable transportation to consistently meet attendance and punctuality standardsValid driver’s license and good driving record requiredStrong planning, organizational, and decision-making skillsKnowledge of regulatory and financial aspects of hospice programsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSympathetic attitude toward hospice patients and familiesComfortable working in environments with petsWhy Choose Silverado?Fortune Magazine Best Workplace in Aging Services™Certified Great Place to Work®Strong internal mobilityShift Schedule: Full Time, AM shift, Monday - Friday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Anticipated pay range: $75,000 USD - $85,000 USD Silverado offers the following benefits to eligible employees: 401(k) matchingHealth, Dental and Vision InsuranceFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Paid time offTuition reimbursement and professional development assistance Referral programOther amazing benefits such as Pet Insurance, Auto and Home Insurance and Discount Programs!* Silverado does not accept candidates from outside recruiters or agencies for this role. *California Employees: For roles requiring driving, the driving requirement has been deemed essential to the performance of this role due to specific business necessity.
