This environment offers professionals the opportunity to grow within a well-established, trusted financial institution.Role Description The Regional Collections Manager SME is a full-time, on-site role based in Gujranwala, responsible for leading and optimizing collections activities across the assigned region. This role involves overseeing collections teams, setting daily and weekly targets, monitoring performance, and ensuring that collection processes align with bank policies and regulatory requirements. The Regional Collections Manager SME will analyze portfolio performance, identify risk trends, and implement strategies to improve recovery rates while maintaining a strong focus on customer experience and ethical practices. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with branches and other departments, reviewing complex cases, guiding staff on best practices, and preparing regular reports on collections performance for senior management. The role also includes training and mentoring team members, resolving escalated issues, and contributing subject-matter expertise to enhance regional collections frameworks and tools.Qualifications Strong expertise in collections operations, portfolio management, and recovery strategies, preferably within banking or financial services.Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and use of collections or core banking systems to monitor performance and identify trends.Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including team supervision, coaching, and performance management in a regional or multi-branch environment.Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills to manage sensitive customer interactions and internal coordination.Sound understanding of relevant regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and ethical practices in collections.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; a master’s degree or professional certifications in credit or risk management are an advantage.Proven ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet strict deadlines and targets.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindset for optimizing collections processes.
