Apply & track with Apply EdgeLocation: Open to applicants across Italy, with a preference for Rome or MilanReporting Line: Senior Global Compliance & Risk ManagerRole PurposeThe Compliance Manager – Europe & Africa is responsible for implementing, embedding and overseeing the Global Mobility Compliance Programme across assigned markets within Europe and Africa.Support compliance across diverse regulatory environments, ensuring regional implementation of global standards while considering local legal and operational requirements.The role acts as the primary regional compliance business partner, supporting local management in implementing compliance frameworks, monitoring programme effectiveness, managing investigations, and ensuring regulatory requirements are consistently applied across all Mobility businesses.The position supports the delivery of a practical, risk-based compliance programme aligned with Corporate Compliance standards while enabling sustainable business growth across existing and new markets.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the regional implementation and continuous improvement of the Global Mobility Compliance Programme across assigned markets in accordance with the strategy, standards and priorities established by the Senior Compliance Manager.Act as the primary regional compliance business partner, providing practical compliance advice and support to local management.Deliver risk-based compliance monitoring, testing and assurance activities, ensuring timely remediation of identified issues.Manage compliance investigations, incidents and whistleblowing cases, ensuring appropriate escalation, documentation and resolution.Lead regional oversight of the Product Liability Compliance Programme, supporting product safety governance, incident management, regulatory reporting, product recall activities, crisis response and continuous improvement initiatives.Oversee sanctions screening, third-party due diligence, anti-bribery and corruption (ABAC), and broader regulatory compliance programmes across assigned markets.Coordinate the implementation of new regulatory requirements and support regulatory inspections, audits and regulatory enquiries.Deliver compliance training and awareness initiatives to strengthen the culture of ethics and compliance.Provide regular reporting to the Senior Compliance Manager on programme implementation, regional compliance performance, emerging risks, investigations, remediation activities and regulatory developments, escalating material issues and recommendations requiring strategic direction.Required ExperienceMinimum of 7 years' experience in Compliance, Ethics, Risk or Regulatory Compliance.Demonstrated experience implementing compliance programmes across multiple jurisdictions.Experience leading or managing compliance investigations.Experience in Product Liability/Product Safety, sanctions, anti-bribery and corruption (ABAC), third-party risk management and regulatory compliance.Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.Experience working within multinational organisations.Strong project and programme management experience.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Law, Compliance, Risk Management or a related discipline.Professional compliance qualification (e.g.
