Regional Controller

LHH has partnered with our client, a construction and infrastructure services industry, that is seeking a Regional Controller to oversee financial operations across multiple business units. This is a highly visible leadership role offering the opportunity to influence financial strategy, improve processes, and partner closely with operational leadership on large-scale construction projects.The organization is undergoing significant growth and transformation, creating an exciting opportunity for a hands-on finance leader to help stabilize and enhance the accounting and financial reporting function.

Key Responsibilities

Lead all accounting and financial reporting activities for a region.Manage the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring compliance with GAAP.Oversee WIP reporting, revenue recognition, project cost tracking, and margin analysis.Develop and maintain forecasts, budgets, and financial models for regional operations.Partner with construction and operational leaders to drive financial performance and support decision-making.Supervise and mentor accounting staff, including oversight of payroll-related activities.Analyze financial results and communicate key trends, risks, and opportunities to leadership.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, controls, and reporting accuracy.Support audits, compliance requirements, and corporate reporting initiatives.Assist with system and process optimization within the accounting and project management environment.

Qualifications
