Regional Customs Manager | Logistics & Freight Forwarding

The organization is focused on operational excellence, regulatory compliance, customer service, and profitable growth across its regional operations.Key Responsibilities / KRALead end-to-end customs brokerage operations for import and export shipments, ensuring timely clearance, SLA adherence, and operational accuracy.Drive customs compliance across applicable regulations, including classification, valuation, documentation, audits, investigations, and statutory requirements.Own the regional customs P&L, covering revenue, profitability, cost control, billing, collections, budgeting, and forecasting.Lead and develop the customs operations team while managing productivity, performance, customer escalations, and service quality.Build strong relationships with customers, customs authorities, freight forwarders, transporters, and internal stakeholders to support service delivery and business growth.Candidate Profile8–15 years of experience in customs brokerage, freight forwarding, or logistics operations, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial capacity.Strong hands-on expertise in customs clearance, regulatory compliance, tariff classification, valuation, and related trade regulations; Customs Brokerage F Card is preferred.Candidates should have demonstrated experience in P&L management, team leadership, customer management, and operational performance improvement.Strong analytical, financial, negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with exposure to customs EDI systems and ERP platforms.Location: MumbaiExperience: 8–15 YearsIndustry: Freight Forwarding / Logistics/ Customs BrokerageIf interested please apply or share your resume on asha@propellasearch.com directly.
