Regional Director – Civil & Infrastructure

I’m working on a significant leadership opportunity to take ownership of an established infrastructure business and lead its next phase of growth across the Middle EastThis is an opportunity within an established regional operation, with a clear mandate to build on an already sizeable infrastructure business and drive its next phase of growth.We're looking for someone who has operated as a business leader within a large engineering consultancy, combining a strong technical understanding of infrastructure with commercial leadership, work-winning, client development and the ability to grow and lead large multidisciplinary teams.The role will include:Leading a substantial multidisciplinary infrastructure business across the Middle East.Setting the strategic direction for the division and driving its continued growth across the region.Taking ownership of commercial performance, business planning and operational strategy.Leading major pursuits and developing new opportunities with government entities, developers and other major clients.Building and maintaining relationships at the highest levels across the regional infrastructure market.Overseeing a broad portfolio spanning major infrastructure, transportation, highways, civil engineering, utilities and large-scale masterplanned developments.Building and developing the senior leadership team as the business continues to grow.Working closely with regional and international leadership to leverage wider capabilities and pursue major multidisciplinary opportunities.We're particularly interested in speaking with individuals who have:Built their career within major international engineering or infrastructure consultancies.Led a sizeable infrastructure business or business unit with responsibility for P&L, people and growth.A proven track record of growing teams, revenue and market presence.Strong work-winning credentials and established relationships with senior clients across the Middle East.Broad regional experience rather than a career focused solely on the delivery of individual projects or programmes.The ability to operate at both a strategic and commercial level while retaining a strong understanding of infrastructure design and delivery.For the right individual, this is an opportunity to take ownership of an already established platform with the backing and ambition to build something significantly larger across the Middle East.Salary could sit between 100,000 to 130,000 AED for the right person.If you'd be open to discussing the opportunity in confidence, please get in touch.
