Easy Apply now by clicking the "Easy Apply" buttonand sending us your resume.Salary: $140,000 - $160,000 per yearA bit about us:A rapidly growing, field service organization is seeking a Regional Director of Operations to help lead and scale its expanding network of locations.This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership position working closely with executive leadership to strengthen branch performance, integrate newly added locations, standardize operating processes, and build the infrastructure needed to support continued growth.This is not a traditional desk-based regional leadership role. The Regional Director will spend significant time in the field working directly with Branch Managers, Service Managers, technicians, and local teams.The right person understands commercial door and dock operations, knows how a profitable service organization should run, and is comfortable stepping into a branch, identifying problems, and helping the team solve them.Why join us?401(k) with company matchMedical, dental, and vision insuranceLife insurancePaid time offFlexible schedulingProfessional development supportBonusJob DetailsWhat You'll Do Oversee and support operations across multiple regional locations Partner closely with Branch Managers and Service Managers to improve operational and financial performance Travel regularly to branch locations to evaluate operations and implement improvements Help integrate newly added locations into a larger multi-site organization Standardize processes surrounding dispatch, scheduling, routing, inventory, service delivery, and billing Identify operational gaps affecting profitability, customer service, technician productivity, or cash flow Improve the complete service lifecycle from initial customer request through job completion and billing Coach branch leadership on P&L management, labor utilization, productivity, and service profitability Establish consistent operating procedures and performance expectations across locations Support transitions from manual or legacy processes into modern ERP and field service management systems Partner with field teams to improve adoption of new processes without disrupting customer relationships or local culture Monitor operational KPIs and use data to identify opportunities for improvement Promote a strong safety culture across field operations Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and applicable OSHA requirements Serve as a key connection between executive leadership and branch-level operations Help develop the operational playbook that will support continued regional expansionWhat We're Looking For 7+ years of progressive operations leadership experience Direct experience within the commercial door, loading dock, industrial door, access control, or closely related field service industry Strong working knowledge of commercial doors, dock equipment, high-speed doors, sectional doors, rolling/coiling doors, and related systems Experience leading multi-site, branch, or regional service operations strongly preferred Strong understanding of field service economics, including technician utilization, labor management, dispatch, routing, inventory, billing, and P&L performance Demonstrated ability to identify operational problems and implement practical solutions Experience coaching Branch Managers, Service Managers, or other operational leaders Exposure to acquisitions, branch integrations, organizational growth, or operational standardization is highly desirable Experience working with ERP or field service management platforms Strong Excel and operational reporting skills Ability to communicate effectively with technicians, branch leadership, customers, and senior executives Willingness and ability to travel 75%+ throughout the region Must reside in Massachusetts or ConnecticutThe Ideal LeaderYou are equally comfortable reviewing branch financials with senior leadership and walking through a service operation with technicians.You understand that improving operations requires more than creating procedures.
