This leader will own operational execution, financial performance, talent development, and the guest experience throughout the assigned market.SCOPE: 6 to 9 restaurantsLOCATION: Phoenix metro areaTRAVEL: Approximately 75 percentThe OpportunityThe Regional Director of Operations provides leadership, coaching, and clear direction to restaurant management teams. The role ensures consistent execution of company operating standards, service expectations, recipes, systems, and programs while building capable teams and improving restaurant results.What You Will DoProvide hands-on leadership and operational support to 6 to 9 restaurant locations in the Phoenix area.Drive the company's vision, culture, brand standards, and strategic priorities throughout the region.Own regional performance across full P&L results, sales, labor, food cost, accounting controls, front-of-house and back-of-house operations, and human resources.Recruit, select, develop, and retain strong restaurant managers and high-performing teams.Coach managers and team members on service execution, menu preparation, operating systems, and program implementation.Set clear goals, performance expectations, and operating strategies for each location.Use restaurant and financial results to develop action plans that improve sales, profitability, staffing, guest satisfaction, and execution.Partner with restaurant leaders to solve problems, remove barriers, and improve processes.Conduct regular restaurant visits and provide timely, practical feedback and follow-through.Maintain compliance with company policies, food safety standards, employment practices, and applicable laws and regulations.Recognize accomplishments and build a culture of accountability, teamwork, continuous improvement, and outstanding guest service.What We Are Looking ForAt least two years of multi-unit management experience in restaurants, retail, hospitality, or a similar service-focused environment.Demonstrated experience managing restaurant-level P&L results and improving operational and financial performance.Strong leadership, coaching, talent development, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to translate performance data into clear priorities and effective action plans.Comfort balancing strategic leadership with regular, hands-on support inside restaurant locations.High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, restaurant management, or a related field preferred.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.Ability to travel approximately 75 percent of the time and work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.Physical Requirements and Work EnvironmentThis role requires the ability to stand and walk for periods of 8 to 12 hours during restaurant visits or shifts; frequently reach, bend, stoop, and balance; repeatedly lift, carry, or transport objects weighing up to 30 pounds; and work around varying temperatures, including warm or very warm kitchen environments.Confidential SearchThis is a confidential search for a fast-casual restaurant chain operating in the Phoenix, Arizona area.
