Location: Texas (Relocation Available)OverviewA growing, private equity-backed physician services organization is seeking a Regional Director of Operations to oversee a network of multi-site specialty physician practices and ambulatory surgery centers across Texas.Reporting to executive leadership, this individual will partner closely with physicians, practice administrators, and cross-functional corporate teams to drive operational excellence, financial performance, patient experience, and strategic growth across the region.Key ResponsibilitiesLead operations across 10โ20+ physician practices and ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs)Partner with physicians to improve operational performance, provider engagement, and patient accessOwn regional P&L performance, budgeting, forecasting, and KPI accountabilityCoach, mentor, and develop Practice Administrators and operational leadersDrive process improvement, workflow optimization, and patient experience initiativesMonitor key operational metrics including revenue, EBITDA, labor, productivity, patient satisfaction, and provider utilizationPartner with Revenue Cycle, HR, Finance, Marketing, IT, and Clinical leadership on strategic initiativesSupport physician recruitment, onboarding, acquisitions, and practice integrationsEnsure regulatory compliance and operational excellence across all locationsQualificationsBachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred7+ years of progressive multi-site healthcare operations leadership experienceExperience leading physician practices, ideally within a specialty care environmentStrong financial acumen with experience managing P&L performance and operational KPIsProven ability to build strong physician relationships and lead high-performing teamsExperience within private equity-backed healthcare, ASC operations, and M&A integrations is highly desirableCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salaryAnnual performance bonusComprehensive benefits package401(k) with company matchPaid time offRelocation assistanceThis is an outstanding opportunity to join a high-growth healthcare organization and play a key leadership role in driving operational excellence, supporting physician partners, and helping scale a growing multi-site platform across Texas.
