This position leads regional planning, sets performance objectives, and ensures alignment with the company’s vision for mining sector development and editorial independence. Day-to-day activities include managing regional partnerships, supervising project execution, coordinating with editorial and consulting teams, and monitoring financial and operational performance. The Regional Executive Director will represent the organization in industry forums, maintain relationships with key stakeholders, and identify new business and content opportunities. The role also involves leading remote teams, implementing governance and compliance standards, and regularly reporting regional results and insights to senior leadership.Qualifications Strong leadership and people management skills, including experience directing remote or distributed teams and fostering collaborative work environments.Strategic planning and business development capabilities, with a track record in setting regional goals, identifying growth opportunities, and managing key partnerships.Operational and financial management skills, such as budgeting, performance monitoring, and optimizing processes across multiple projects or regions.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, including negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building with industry professionals and institutional partners.Knowledge of the mining, energy, or related industrial sectors, and familiarity with industry publications, consulting services, or professional associations.Ability to work independently in a remote setting, prioritize multiple initiatives, and make informed decisions under limited supervision.Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Communications, or a related field; advanced degrees or specialized training in mining or energy are an advantage.Professional proficiency in Spanish; proficiency in English or other languages relevant to the region is a plus.Experience in editorial oversight, consulting, or thought leadership within technical or professional communities is highly beneficial.
