Apply & track with Apply EdgeRegional Facilities Manager POSITION SUMMARYThe Regional Facilities Manager provides operational leadership and oversight for facility management services across multiple client locations within an assigned region. This position is responsible for ensuring consistent service delivery, regulatory and contractual compliance, financial performance, vendor management, facility reliability, and client satisfaction.The Regional Facilities Manager serves as a key operational leader between individual sites and account leadership, ensuring Knight Facilities Management standards and client expectations are consistently executed across the region.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide leadership and operational oversight for multiple facilities within an assigned region.
- Ensure consistent execution of facility management services across all assigned locations.
- Serve as an escalation point for site-level operational, maintenance, vendor, staffing, and client concerns.
- Develop strong working relationships with client representatives and understand site-specific and regional business needs.
- Monitor contractual service requirements, scopes of work, KPIs, service-level agreements, and compliance expectations.
- Review regional operational performance and develop corrective action plans when performance expectations are not met.
- Ensure preventive maintenance, inspections, certifications, documentation, and other required facility activities are completed on schedule.
- Partner with site leaders and maintenance teams to address facility reliability and recurring operational issues.
- Manage and evaluate vendor and subcontractor performance throughout the region.
- Identify opportunities to improve service quality, efficiency, standardization, and cost effectiveness.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, expense management, purchasing, and financial performance for assigned facilities.
- Review operational and financial reporting and investigate significant trends or variances.
- Lead regular operational reviews with site teams and account leadership.
- Support staffing, onboarding, performance management, development, and succession planning for facility management personnel.
- Ensure appropriate escalation and response to critical facility incidents and business interruptions.
- Support implementation of new programs, systems, processes, and client initiatives.
- Conduct site visits and operational assessments to evaluate service quality and identify improvement opportunities.
- Partner with safety, compliance, procurement, HR, finance, and other support functions as necessary.
- Promote a culture of accountability, responsiveness, safety, continuous improvement, and exceptional client service.QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field preferred.
- Significant experience in facilities management, property operations, engineering, or multi-site operations.
- Previous leadership responsibility across multiple facilities or locations strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of facility operations, maintenance programs, vendor management, and service delivery.
- Experience managing client relationships and contractual performance expectations.
- Financial management and budgeting experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned region.
- Experience working with CMMS, work-order, financial, and performance-reporting systems.
- IFMA, CFM, FMP, or similar professional certification is a plus.ANNUAL SALARY: $85,000-95,000
