Regional Human Resources Assistant Manager

With over 20 years of regional experience spanning Southeast Asia, Greater China, India, Korea, Japan and ANZ, we deliver C-level engagements, roadshows, partner summits, conferences and flagship events with consistency, local insight and seamless execution.Job Scope:HR Operations & ComplianceOversee full-spectrum HR operations across Singapore and Malaysia, including payroll, recruitment, onboarding, employee benefits and offboarding.Ensure compliance with local employment laws, statutory contributions and HR regulations in both countries.Maintain accurate employee records, contracts and HR documentation.Talent & People ManagementManage performance appraisal processesManagement employee training processes.Management of employee relations matters (engagement initiatives and promote collaborative workplace culture)HR Systems & Process ImprovementReview and improve HR policies and workflows to enhance efficiency.Manage HRMS systems and ensure accurate employee data management.Office AdministrationManage employee assets, equipment, software licences and access records.Oversee general office administration, employee insurance and vendor coordination.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related discipline.Minimum 5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably covering Singapore and Malaysia.Good knowledge of Singapore and Malaysia employment laws, payroll and statutory requirements.Hands-on experience in full-spectrum HR operations and payroll administration.Experience with Times Software's TimeSoft HRMS will be an added advantage.Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.Independent, detail-oriented, resourceful and able to multitask.Experience in an SME or fast-paced agency environment is advantageous.
