This position combines people leadership, operational excellence, and Identity & Access Management (IAM) expertise, with responsibility for ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable identity services across a complex international technology environment.This opportunity is ideal for IAM Team Leads, Identity Operations Managers, Directory Services Leads, IAM Operations Managers, AD Engineers moving into leadership, or Infrastructure Operations Leaders looking to drive regional service delivery while working closely with global cybersecurity and technology teams.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop the APAC Identity Operations team, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management.Oversee day-to-day operations of enterprise Identity & Access Management (IAM) services and platforms.Ensure stable, secure, and consistent delivery of identity services across the Asia region.Manage incident response, escalations, problem management, and operational recovery activities.Partner with global Identity Operations teams to align service delivery, standards, and best practices.Drive operational excellence through automation, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.Translate business requirements into operational procedures and support models.Monitor platform health, performance, availability, and service metrics.Ensure compliance with security policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.Present operational reports, KPIs, and service performance updates to senior stakeholders.Participate in on-call rotations and support critical identity services when required.Requirements5+ years of experience leading technology or infrastructure operations teams.Experience supporting Identity & Access Management (IAM) platforms and services.Hands-on experience with Active Directory, ForgeRock, Ping Identity, LDAP, or related identity technologies.Proven track record managing technical teams, developing talent, and driving operational performance.Experience managing production operations, incidents, escalations, and service delivery.Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.Ability to work independently and drive initiatives with minimal supervision.Business-level Japanese and English communication skills.
