About the Company

Our client, a leading global Consumer Goods (CPG/FMCG) organisation, is seeking an experienced and strategic technology leader to join their team as Regional IT Director – APJ.Reporting to the Global Technology Leadership team, this role will drive the regional IT strategy, AI adoption, digital transformation roadmap, and technology-enabled business growth across APJ markets.We are looking for a business-focused technology leader who understands the CPG ecosystem and has successfully partnered with Commercial, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations teams to deliver impactful digital, data and AI-driven solutions.Prior experience within the Consumer Goods / FMCG industry is essential.

Key Responsibilities

As the Regional IT Director, you will be entrusted with the following responsibilities:IT Strategy and Planning: Craft and execute a robust IT strategy aligned with the company's growth objectives in the APJ region.AI Focus: AI adoption, automation and data-driven innovationTeam Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.Business Solutions Development: Drive the development and implementation of technology-driven business solutions, enhancing operational efficiency and driving growth.Technology Infrastructure and Security: Oversee the maintenance and security of technology infrastructure, staying abreast of industry best practices.Vendor Management: Collaborate with external partners and vendors to optimize technology solutions and services.Budget Management: Efficiently manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and maximum ROI.IT Governance and Compliance: Ensure adherence to IT governance and compliance standards, mitigating risks effectively.Qualifications and Experience:To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:A tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.A minimum of 14 years of progressively responsible IT management roles in APJ.A proven track record of successfully leading IT teams and delivering technology-driven business solutions.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Environment and Solutions, Azure Cloud, and Dynamics 365.In-depth knowledge of IT security and risk management best practices.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Expertise in implementing, configuring, and testing IT solutions.Exceptional creative and analytical thinking skills.Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and adapt to changing demands.This is a full-time permanent position based in our Singapore office, with occasional travel to other APJ offices required.Interested?Click 'apply now' to send us your resume.Only shortlisted candidate will be notified.Thank you!Sapna OberaiTechClover Pte.
