Apply & track with Apply EdgeRegional Legal Counsel, MENARole OverviewReporting to and working closely with the Regional Legal Director, the Regional Legal Counsel provides broad legal support across corporate, commercial, governance, and compliance matters throughout the MENA region. This is a hands-on, in-house role suited to a commercially minded lawyer who can manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced, international environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Regional Legal Director in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of legal documentation, contracts, and correspondence.Review and maintain corporate records, including memoranda and articles of association, trade licenses, resolutions, and documentation relating to director and shareholder changes, amendments, and similar filings.Draft and execute documents relating to legal due diligence, new corporate entity formations, and corporate restructuring (including dissolutions), and provide support on standard corporate and commercial agreements, including bilingual NDAs, contracts, and related administrative documentation.Support the administration of the contract lifecycle management (CLM) solution, ensuring contracts are properly implemented, submitted, and tracked.Contribute to governance and compliance efforts, initiatives, and programs across the region.Manage litigation and disputes, coordinating with external counsel as needed.Qualifications and ExperienceStrong academic background, with legal qualifications to practice law in a jurisdiction within the MENA region.Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience advising companies, preferably within the GCC or wider MENA region.Working knowledge of data privacy and technology laws and practices.In-house experience within an international, matrixed organization is strongly preferred.Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, including cross-border transactions.Strong organizational, documentation, presentation, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Full professional fluency in both English and Arabic.Proven corporate awareness and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues from diverse and multicultural backgrounds.
