Role Description The Regional Managing Director – Middle East is a part-time, remote role responsible for leading and expanding the Save Gaza Campaign’s presence and impact across the Middle East region. The individual will oversee regional strategy, build partnerships with civil society organizations and community leaders, and coordinate advocacy and outreach initiatives aligned with the campaign’s mission. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and supervising regional activities, guiding local volunteers, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring consistent messaging and compliance with the campaign’s non-political stance. The role also involves monitoring regional developments, providing strategic input to the global leadership team, representing the campaign at virtual events, and preparing concise reports on progress and challenges.QualificationsStrong leadership and regional management skills, with experience overseeing teams or initiatives across multiple countries or communities.Proven ability in stakeholder engagement, partnership building, and relationship management with NGOs, community groups, and advocacy networks.Excellent communication skills, including public speaking, negotiation, and the ability to convey complex issues clearly and respectfully.Background in advocacy, humanitarian work, civil society, or social impact projects, preferably with knowledge of Middle East dynamics.Demonstrated skills in strategic planning, project coordination, and monitoring and evaluation of campaigns or programs.High cultural sensitivity, conflict-sensitive approach, and commitment to non-discriminatory, non-political humanitarian principles.Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and collaborate across diverse, multicultural teams.Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic or other regional languages is an asset.Relevant academic background in social sciences, international relations, peace and conflict studies, or a related field is desirable.
