Clinical Governance, Staffing & Management (50%)Team Building & Recruitment: Partner closely with corporate executive leadership to interview, select, and onboard a high-caliber North Carolina team of psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and LCSWs.Clinical Supervision & Mentorship: Provide direct clinical oversight, regular chart audits, and case consultations for regional mid-levels and therapists, ensuring the highest standards of diagnostic and prescriptive integrity under North Carolina nursing and medical board regulations.Regulatory & Compliance Leadership: Serve as the local clinical authority to ensure strict adherence to state medical guidelines, collaborative practice agreements, and safety protocols for interventional modalities (including Spravato)Quality Assurance: Drive initiatives to optimize patient outcomes, maintain clinical documentation standards, and foster a collaborative, continuous-learning culture across the local team2. Advanced Direct Patient Care (50%)Interventional Program Oversight: Evaluate and manage clinical intake and medical administration protocols for clients undergoing Spravato (Esketamine) treatments within our specialized Jersey City clinic environmentComplex Psychopharmacology: Provide high-quality diagnostic evaluations and evidence-based medication management for adult outpatient populations experiencing severe or treatment-resistant mood disordersCoordinated Care: Maintain a highly efficient, targeted clinical schedule, working in tandem with Aurora's dedicated therapists and administrative coordinatorsRequirementsCredentials: Board Certification in Psychiatry (MD or DO)Licensure: Active, unrestricted license to practice medicine from the New Jersey Medical Board with an active DEA and state-specific registrationLeadership Experience: Demonstrated experience managing, mentoring, or supervising a multidisciplinary clinical team (Psychiatrists, NPs, and/or Therapists)Clinical Expertise: Deep familiarity with treatment-resistant depression and mood disorders.
