Role Description The Regional Vice President is a full-time remote role responsible for leading commercial strategy and operations across an assigned geographic region. This role oversees regional sales and business development for agricultural commodities, including identifying new markets, cultivating relationships with international distributors and buyers, and negotiating contracts that align with company objectives. The Regional Vice President collaborates with supply chain, logistics, and compliance teams to ensure reliable product flow, adherence to quality and regulatory standards, and timely delivery to global customers. Daily activities include monitoring regional performance metrics, managing budgets and forecasts, guiding local leadership teams, and reporting results and market insights to executive leadership. The role also drives regional initiatives related to sustainability, process improvement, and risk management to support long-term growth.QualificationsStrong leadership and people management skills, including experience overseeing regional or multi-country teams and developing high-performance cultures.Proven experience in international trade, agricultural commodities, or related sectors, with a track record in sales, business development, or regional P&L ownership.Solid understanding of supply chain, logistics, and export operations, including familiarity with customs, documentation, and international quality standards.Expertise in market analysis and strategic planning, with the ability to interpret data, identify growth opportunities, and manage risk in global markets.Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills with partners, customers, and internal teams.Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-cultural environment.Knowledge of compliance frameworks, certifications, and sustainability practices relevant to agricultural exports is highly beneficial.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.Willingness to travel periodically within the region and internationally as business needs require.
