Apply & track with Apply EdgeAs a vital member of the executive leadership team, the Regional Vice President of Human Resources provides end-to-end strategic oversight and operational guidance across all HR functions for multiple hospitality/gaming properties in Northern Nevada (Carson City and Sparks). In this high-impact executive role, you will bridge macro business objectives with daily floor and property operations driving sustainable growth, safeguarding compliance, and elevating the overall employee and guest experience. Beyond high-level strategic alignment, the VP serves as a hands-on mentor to property-level HR leaders across each location, cultivating robust talent pipelines and building a high-performing, service-driven culture.Compensation:$125,000 - $175,000+, 20% bonus + Auto ($6,000 year) & Cell Phone Allowance ($200 per month) + Great BenefitsResponsiablities: Strategic Alignment: Align regional HR initiatives directly with corporate business objectives to drive operational excellence, elevate team engagement, and continuously enhance the guest experience.Property Leadership Mentorship: Direct, coach, and empower property HR Leaders (each managing site-specific HR teams) to ensure consistent execution of corporate standards and localized talent management.Culture & Employee Experience: Serve as an executive advisor, providing expert coaching, mediation, and conflict resolution to foster a supportive, accountable, and service-oriented workplace culture.Regulatory Governance & Compliance: Safeguard the organization by maintaining strict compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws (EEO, OSHA, ADA, FLSA/Wage & Hour), conducting regular audits to mitigate risk.Labor Relations & Advocacy: Lead labor relations strategy, manage employee relations escalations, represent the organization in employment hearings and regulatory inquiries, and oversee workers' compensation and safety incentive programs.Executive & Multi-Property Recruitment: Oversee full-cycle talent acquisition for both exempt and non-exempt roles, leveraging rigorous assessment tools, strategic sourcing, and employer branding to attract top-tier hospitality talent.Talent Development & Succession Planning: Direct comprehensive property-wide training, onboarding experiences, and leadership development frameworks to build robust internal talent pipelines for executive succession.Total Rewards Strategy: Oversee competitive wage/salary structures, incentive schemes, performance management programs, and health and welfare benefits administration to drive talent retention.Fiscal Responsibility: Architect and manage regional HR operational budgets, continuously measuring ROI on people initiatives and optimizing human capital allocation across all properties.
Requirements
10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience (with at least 3+ years in a director or regional executive role).Experience in the gaming and hospitality industries are strongly preferred.Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.SHRM (SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) or HRCI (PHR/SPHR) certification strongly preferred.Up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local labor regulations, with hands-on experience representing the organization in employment and safety hearings (EEO, OSHA, ADA, Wage & Hour).Proven track record of overseeing full-scope HR operations across multiple properties, mentoring HR staff, and managing departmental budgets.Background in overseeing wage, salary, and benefits structures, alongside developing, communicating, and enforcing standardized HR policies across properties.Apply to learn more about this exciting opportunity!
