This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in a collaborative and fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence in dental care.DutiesProvide chairside assistance during various dental procedures, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and orthodontics.Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly according to infection prevention management protocols.Take and develop dental x-rays, including digital imaging and 3D scans, while adhering to dental x-ray safety standards and radiation protection guidelines.Assist with patient intake by recording vital signs, medical history, and updating medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix.Ensure clinical confidentiality policies are strictly followed when handling patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing medical documentation within EMR systems like Epic, and coordinating with the dental receptionist for smooth clinic operations.Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment by following dental sterilization procedures and infection control protocols aligned with healthcare infection prevention standards.Demonstrate proficiency in dental terminology and anatomy knowledge to effectively communicate with patients and team members.Participate in four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize efficiency during procedures and improve patient comfort.SkillsExtensive experience with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic for medical records management.Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and clinical confidentiality policies to protect patient privacy.Proficiency in dental x-ray techniques, including digital imaging and 3D scanning technology.Knowledge of dental instrument processing, sterilization procedures, aseptic technique, and infection prevention management.Skilled in chairside assisting across various specialties including pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and general dentistry.Ability to interpret dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy for effective communication within the team.Experience working in a fast-paced dental clinic environment with a focus on healthcare infection control practices.Familiarity with medical coding and documentation for accurate billing processes related to dental procedures.Excellent organizational skills for managing medical records and supporting administrative functions like scheduling and patient communication.Join us as a Registered Dental Assistant where your passion for healthcare excellence will make a meaningful difference every day!Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hourWork Location: In person
