Day-to-day responsibilities include performing patient screenings, documenting clinical findings, and collaborating with dentists to develop individualized care plans. The hygienist will deliver patient education on oral hygiene practices, periodontal disease prevention, and overall dental care, while maintaining strict infection control and safety standards. The role also includes contributing to a positive patient experience by communicating clearly, supporting anxious patients, and working effectively with the dental team.QualificationsDemonstrated clinical proficiency in Dental Care, including collaboration with the team.Strong skills in Hygiene and Dental Prophylaxis, with a focus on preventive care and patient education.Experience in assessing, managing, and monitoring Periodontal Disease within a dental hygiene scope of practice.Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license (or eligibility) in the applicable provincial regulatory body.Current CPR/BLS certification and thorough knowledge of infection control protocols.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support diverse patients and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.Attention to detail in charting and documentation; comfort using dental practice management and digital radiography systems.Commitment to continuing education, professional development, and evidence-based clinical practice.Interested candidates are invited to submit their CV for confidential consideration.
