The team focuses on individualized care plans that help clients build a strong foundation for long-term wellness and independence.Role Description The Registered Dietitian is a full-time, on-site role based in Saint Paul, MN, providing nutrition-focused care to adult clients participating in IOP and OP treatment programs. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting comprehensive nutrition assessments, developing individualized nutrition care plans, and delivering medical nutrition therapy aligned with clients’ mental health and substance use recovery goals. The dietitian will provide one-on-one nutritional counseling, facilitate nutrition education groups, and support clients with healthy lifestyle changes. This role also involves documenting care in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards, collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team, and contributing to program development to improve client outcomes.Qualifications Demonstrated proficiency in Dietetics and Nutrition, with the ability to apply evidence-based practices in a behavioral health and substance use treatment setting.Strong skills leading groups and Nutritional Counseling, including motivational interviewing and client-centered education.Experience providing Medical Nutrition Therapy tailored to individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use conditions.Current Registered Dietitian (RD or RDN) credential and licensure (or eligibility for licensure) in Minnesota.Prior experience in mental health, addiction treatment, or a related healthcare environment preferred.Effective communication, documentation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.Ability to maintain professional boundaries, uphold ethical standards, and support a trauma-informed, inclusive care environment.
