The Registered Dietitian will assess patients’ nutritional status, develop individualized nutrition care plans, and provide evidence-based medical nutrition therapy in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team. Day-to-day responsibilities include delivering nutritional counseling and education, supporting weight management and chronic disease management, and documenting care in alignment with clinical and regulatory standards. The role also involves participating in care conferences, monitoring patient progress, and adjusting interventions as needed to support optimal health outcomes. The Registered Dietitian will contribute to quality improvement initiatives and promote whole-person wellness consistent with AdventHealth’s mission and values.QualificationsFoundational expertise in Dietetics and Nutrition, with the ability to apply current evidence-based guidelines in clinical practice.Skills in Nutritional Counseling and Weight Management to educate and support patients in making realistic, sustainable behavior changes.Competence in Medical Nutrition Therapy for a range of conditions, such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, gastrointestinal disorders, and obesity.Current registration as a Registered Dietitian (RD or RDN) and state licensure in Florida, or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to start date.Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills, with the ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary healthcare team.Experience in acute care, outpatient, or community health settings is preferred; familiarity with electronic health records is beneficial.Commitment to culturally responsive, patient-centered care and alignment with AdventHealth’s mission and values.
