The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries in a fast-paced urgent care environment.The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical assessment skills, the ability to prioritize patient needs effectively, and a commitment to delivering safe, efficient, and patient-centered care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive patient assessments, including triage and prioritization of care based on clinical urgency.Provide nursing care to patients with a wide range of acute illnesses, minor injuries, and urgent medical conditions.Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with physician orders and hospital policies.Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals during examinations, procedures, and emergency interventions.Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies.Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans, medications, follow-up care, and health promotion.Adhere to infection prevention and control policies and maintain a safe clinical environment.Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality of patient care.Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and accreditation initiatives.Maintain compliance with all hospital policies, regulatory standards, and professional nursing practices.RequirementsValid DOH Nursing License or eligibility to obtain a DOH license.Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Urgent Care, Emergency Department (ED), or Acute Care settings.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.Strong clinical assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills.Experience in managing patients with urgent and acute medical conditions.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multicultural healthcare environment.Commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centered care and maintaining high professional standards.
