Position : OPD Nurse (Dermatology)Location : Riyadh, Saudi ArabiaThe Dermatology OPD Nurse is responsible for providing safe, efficient, and patient-centered nursing care to dermatology patients in the outpatient setting. The nurse assists dermatologists during consultations and procedures, prepares patients and equipment, administers medications and treatments within the authorized scope of practice, performs wound and skin care, maintains infection-control standards, and provides patient education.Key ResponsibilitiesReceive and assess patients attending the dermatology outpatient clinic.Record vital signs, allergies, medical history, current medications, and relevant nursing information.Prepare patients for dermatological consultation and clinical procedures.Assist dermatologists during examinations and dermatological procedures.Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, instruments, equipment, and necessary supplies.Assist with procedures such as skin biopsies, wound care, cryotherapy, cauterization, minor dermatological procedures, and other treatments as assigned and within the nurse's authorized scope of practice.Perform wound dressing and post-procedure skin care according to physician orders and facility protocols.Administer prescribed medications, injections, topical treatments, and other therapies within the nurse's professional scope and institutional policy.Monitor patients for adverse reactions, complications, allergic reactions, and changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the physician.Provide appropriate pre- and post-procedure nursing care.Educate patients regarding prescribed medications, topical applications, wound care, sun protection, skin hygiene, treatment compliance, and follow-up appointments.Provide clear instructions regarding post-procedure care and warning signs that require medical attention.QualificationsBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.Valid professional registration/classification with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS), as applicable to the candidate's professional category.Valid nursing license/registration as required by Saudi regulations.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred/required according to facility policy.Previous experience in dermatology, outpatient nursing, cosmetic dermatology, or a related clinical setting is preferred.Good English communication skills
