By selling directly to consumers, we cut out the middleman, lower costs and pass the savings on to our customers.We're hiring a Regulatory & Compliance Analyst to help us navigate the regulatory landscape as we scale. The role sits in our Regulatory & External Affairs team, working directly with our Head of Regulatory & External Affairs across everything from Ofgem submissions to government engagement. You'll have real ownership from day one.ResposibilitiesTake genuine ownership of regulatory workstreams end-to-end in a fast-paced environment - this is not a role where work is handed to you fully scopedSupport compliance workstreams with supply licence obligations and industry codes, including tracking obligations and preparing submissionsDraft responses to regulatory consultations, RFIs and stakeholder queries, and support engagement with Ofgem, DESNZ, code bodies and other industry partiesMonitor regulatory and policy developments across the energy sector, assess their impact on Fuse, and brief internal teams on what matters and whyBuild and maintain compliance trackers, checklists and internal processes that keep the business ahead of its obligations as we growRequirementsBachelor's degree from a top university in policy, international relations, politics, economics, law or a similar fieldKnowledge of, or strong interest in, the UK energy industry and its regulatory frameworkComfortable with data analytics - able to work confidently in spreadsheetsExcellent written communication - able to draft precise, well-structured submissions and correspondence for regulators and governmentThrives with high ownershipHighly organised, with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines and workstreams without dropping anythingBenefitsCompetitive salary and eligibility for equityBiannual bonus schemeFully expensed tech to match your needsPrivate health insuranceBreakfast and dinner allowance for office-based employeesAs we hire globally, benefits vary by location.
