قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجMy Client, an International bank in the City, seeks a Regulatory Reporting banker to join their wider Financial Reporting & Accounting team in London.Responsibilities include :Regulatory Reporting:Preparation and oversight of monthly internal financial and management reporting to Head Office, as well as the preparation of performance management information, senior management reports and Board-level reporting, ensuring accuracy, completeness and timely delivery.Accountable for the preparation, review and submission of all regulatory and statutory returns, including:PRA / FCA / Bank of England regulatory returnsDeposit Guarantee Scheme (DGS) reporting and related audit requirementHMRC filings (Corporation Tax, VAT, Bank Tax, ELS, FATCA, CRS, BSI and other applicable returns)Perform detailed reconciliations, validation controls and analytical reviews to ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial and regulatory data.Investigate reporting variances, exceptions and data quality issues, coordinating with relevant departments to ensure timely resolution.Participate in the implementation of new regulatory reporting requirements, reporting changes and data enhancement initiatives.Tax, External Authorities and Advisers:Support interactions with external tax advisers, auditors and consultants regarding tax, accounting and reporting matters.Assist in preparing information required for regulatory requests, tax reviews and auditsMonitor and assess regulatory and legislative developments, ensuring appropriate advice is provided to Senior Management and that necessary changes are implemented to maintain compliance.Liquidity, Financial Structure and Capital Consumption:Support the management and/or reporting of the Branch’s liquidity position in line with PRA requirements.Oversight of the Branch’s financial structure, including funding from Head Office and its tax implications, ensuring appropriate alignment with applicable tax and regulatory requirements.Monitor and analyse Risk-Weighted Assets (RWA) and support initiatives to optimise the Branch’s capital consumption in coordination with Head Office teams.Produce reporting and management information to support financial planning and decision-making processes.Governance, Controls and Regulatory Framework:Active participation in Branch governance, including relevant committees, contributing to decision-making, oversight and internal control.Accountable for the continuous improvement of internal financial governance, including the proposal, update and implementation of accounting, reporting and tax procedures, and the design and enhancement of financial and regulatory controls.Execute first line of defence responsibilities within the Accounting & Reporting area, including the operation of key controls, and work closely with second- and third-line functions to ensure effective risk management and remediation, including coordination with Compliance & MLRO on matters related to reporting obligations, controls and regulatory requirements within the Branch.Liaise with internal and external auditors, supporting reviews and ensuring appropriate follow-up on financial, reporting and control matters.Maintain reporting documentation, procedure manuals and process maps to ensure reporting activities are appropriately governed and auditableBusiness Support, Operations and Change:Support budget preparation, financial monitoring and variance analysis activities. Assist in maintaining fixed asset registers, expense controls and invoice management processes.Oversee vendor-related matters and selected administrative support activities within the Branch, ensuring appropriate governance, control and coordination with relevant internal teams and service providersDevelopment, implementation and maintenance of accounting policies, ensuring alignment with UK regulatory requirements and the Bank's standardsSponsor and oversee process improvement and automation initiatives related to accounting, reporting and tax, ensuring risks are appropriately identified and mitigated.Review new business initiatives and activities, assessing their financial, accounting and regulatory implications, and ensuring appropriate controls are implemented prior to launch.Support the enhancement of reporting tools, data models, automation solutions and AI-enabled processes, working closely with International Banking, Tech and other stakeholders to improve efficiency, accuracy, control effectiveness and regulatory reporting automation
