Robert Half is partnering with a fast-growing, global food company to hire a Regulatory Compliance Specialist focused on day-to-day label review and execution across a diverse portfolio of international food products.This is a hands-on, execution-driven role—ideal for someone who enjoys working directly in the details of labeling compliance rather than owning high-level regulatory strategy.What You’ll DoPerform daily label reviews to ensure compliance with FDA (21 CFR), USDA, and state regulationsVerify nutrition facts, ingredient statements, allergen declarations, and required disclosuresReview and validate product and marketing claims to ensure they are compliant and supportablePartner closely with Marketing, QA, and Procurement to align on label updates and approvalsCommunicate with domestic and international suppliers to gather, clarify, and correct label documentationManage label updates tied to ingredient changes, regulatory updates, and new product launchesSupport urgent labeling requests by coordinating timelines and updates with internal teamsIdentify compliance risks and escalate issues to ensure timely resolutionTools & SystemsExperience with tools like TraceGains, Genesis R&D, Wrike, or similar platforms is a plusWhat We’re Looking For3–5 years of hands-on food labeling regulatory experience (must-have)Strong knowledge of FDA/USDA labeling requirementsExperience with allergen labeling, nutrition panels, and product claims reviewComfortable working cross-functionally and managing vendor communicationsHighly detail-oriented with the ability to manage high-volume label reviewsThe salary range for this position is $85,000 - $95,000.
