Insight Investment is looking for a Regulatory Trade Reporting Analyst to join the Regulatory Reporting team in London. The Regulatory Trade Reporting Analyst is responsible for supporting the accurate, timely, and complete delivery of regulatory trade and transaction reporting obligations across multiple regulatory regimes. The role is suited to an individual who is curious, proactive, and motivated to challenge the status quo, contributing to the continual enhancement of data quality, controls, and regulatory assurance. Role ResponsibilitiesPerform day-to-day trade and transaction reporting activities under MiFIR, EMIR (UK & EU), SFTR, ASIC and FinFRAG. Monitor reporting accuracy, completeness, and timeliness metrics, investigating breaks and anomalies. Analyse regulator and vendor error/exception reports, assess materiality, and coordinate remediation activities. Support the development, maintenance, and execution of Trade Reporting controls and assurance processes. Contribute to the production of Management Information (MI) used for internal governance, audits, and regulatory engagement. Assist in responding to regulatory queries, internal audit requests, and compliance investigations. Support process improvements, automation initiatives, and change delivery impacting trade reporting. Maintain and contribute to regulatory procedures, standards, and documentation.Liaise with internal stakeholders including Compliance, Technology, Operations, and external vendors or service providers.Experience RequiredExperience working within Trade Reporting, Middle Office, Operations, or a related regulatory environment. Working knowledge of one or more trade/transaction reporting regimes (MiFIR, EMIR, SFTR, ASIC, FinFRAG preferred). Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and resolve issues. High attention to detail with a strong interest in regulatory rules and reporting logic. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and work to deadlines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to engage confidently with internal and external stakeholders. Advanced Excel skills desirable; experience with reporting tools, reconciliations, or data analysis is an advantage. Advanced SQL skill desirable A mindset aligned to learning, development, and making a tangible impact within the function.
