This role is responsible for serving as a primary point of contact for clients, providing personalized banking solutions, and building long-term relationships. Daily activities include assisting clients with account opening and maintenance, processing transactions, and responding to inquiries in a timely, professional manner. The Relationship Banker 1 helps identify client needs and recommends appropriate products and services, including deposit accounts, loans, and other financial solutions. The role also involves educating clients on digital banking tools, adhering to regulatory and internal compliance standards, and collaborating with branch teammates to achieve sales and service goals.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Relationship Building skills and the ability to develop trust with diverse clients and colleagues.Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Financial Services and Finance to effectively discuss banking products and solutions.Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills, including active listening, clear communication, and problem resolution.Candidates should possess familiarity with Loans, including basic consumer lending concepts and the ability to refer clients appropriately.Relevant qualifications include prior experience in banking, retail, or customer-facing roles, and comfort working with digital banking platforms and branch technology.Additional beneficial qualifications include attention to detail, basic math skills, ability to follow compliance procedures, and a high school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business or finance is a plus.
