This position is responsible for serving as a primary point of contact for clients, opening and maintaining deposit accounts, processing transactions, and providing guidance on banking products and services. The Relationship Banker proactively builds and deepens client relationships by identifying financial needs, presenting appropriate solutions, and referring clients to specialists for more complex services such as business banking or wealth management. Daily responsibilities include handling inquiries, resolving issues, assisting with consumer loan applications, and ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements. The role also involves participating in branch sales initiatives, following up on leads, and contributing to a positive, inclusive, and service-focused branch environment.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain long-term client connections.Candidates should possess experience in financial services and a foundational understanding of finance, including bank products and regulatory considerations.Candidates should possess customer service skills, with the ability to handle inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and deliver a high-quality client experience.Candidates should possess knowledge of loans, such as consumer or small business lending, and the ability to assist clients through basic application and documentation processes.Candidates should possess clear written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities.Candidates should possess comfort working with branch technology platforms, basic computer applications, and digital banking tools.Prior experience in retail banking, financial services, or a related customer-facing role is preferred.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, finance, or a related field is beneficial.
