In this position, the individual will engage directly with customers to open and service accounts, answer questions, and provide tailored financial solutions. Daily activities include conducting financial reviews, assisting with deposits and withdrawals, supporting loan applications, and identifying opportunities for cross-selling appropriate PNC products and services. The Relationship Banker will work closely with branch colleagues to ensure a smooth, friendly customer experience, maintain accurate records, and adhere to all bank policies and regulatory requirements. This role also involves proactive outreach to build and deepen customer relationships within the local community.Qualifications Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain long-term customer connections.Knowledge of financial services and basic finance concepts to help customers understand products and make informed decisions.Proven customer service experience, with the ability to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and provide clear guidance.Familiarity with loans, including supporting applications, explaining terms, and ensuring proper documentation.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with attention to detail and accuracy.Comfort working with branch systems, digital banking tools, and basic office software.Ability to work on-site, collaborate with a team, and adapt in a fast-paced retail banking environment.High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education or relevant certifications in finance or banking are a plus.Prior experience in retail banking or financial services is preferred but not mandatory.
