The Relationship Banker serves as a primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships while identifying banking, lending, and investment needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting customers with account openings, transactions, and inquiries, providing guidance on financial products, and referring clients to specialized services as appropriate. The role involves evaluating customer needs, supporting loan applications, and ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with banking regulations and policies. Relationship Bankers collaborate closely with branch teammates to deliver high-quality service, meet individual and branch performance goals, and promote FNB’s customer-centric solutions.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Relationship Building and Customer Service skills to develop trust, understand client needs, and provide responsive support.Candidates should possess foundational Financial Services and Finance skills to explain banking products, discuss basic financial concepts, and guide customers toward suitable solutions.Candidates should possess knowledge of Loans, including consumer and small business lending processes, basic credit principles, and documentation requirements.Additional beneficial qualifications include excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, comfort with technology and banking software, and the ability to work in a goal-oriented, team-based branch environment.Prior experience in retail banking, financial services, or a customer-facing role is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is required, and additional education in business, finance, or a related field is advantageous.
