The role: What we expect from you.Take the lead in building strong relationships with the Chinese business community.Maintain strong and growing banking relationships with the Chinese community.Understand client needs and provide tailor-made financial solutions.Provide clients with detailed information and presentations on financial products. Work with product development teams to introduce innovative solutions and tailor-made solutions for the Chinese portfolio.Develop a customer value proposition for the Chinese business community.Conduct regular client visits, resolve issues promptly and drive retention including business reviews.Grow revenue by increasing transactional volumes and wallet share.Promote, cross‑sell and upsell Bank products and digital solutions. Entrench adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.Assess client risk profiles and recommend credit facilities for borrowing customers in the portfolio.Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with the Chinese client portfolio. Gather, analyse and act on client feedback to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction. Prepare sales and performance reports. Entrench strict adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies and all compliance standards. Maintain accurate client interaction records and oversee proper acquisition and safekeeping of all onboarding documentation.Qualifications, Skills, and experience required.Possess a degree in Marketing, Banking & Finance, Business Studies, Economics, Financial Engineering, Science, Technology or similar from a recognised and reputable tertiary institution.Possession of a professional qualification such as an IOBZ diploma or similar is an added advantage. Have at least 5 years’ experience in Relationship Management, preferably within financial services or large commercial environment. Possession of strong and demonstrable proficiency in Mandarin language is an essential requirement for the role.Should possess strong skills in client relationship management, business development, data analysis and presentations.Have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Have strong understanding of Environment, Social and Governance [ESG] principles and protocols and their impacts on clients in the portfolio.If you meet the above criteria, you are the ideal person we are looking for.
