Relationship Manager Corporate Banking

International Bank is seeking a Relationship Manager to join their Corporate Banking team in New York City. Syndication Loan knowledge or experience is a plus.Summary of position: To process assigned syndicated and bilateral loan products and related works and services with a primary focus Corporate Clients, and Financial Institutions.Relationship Manager Responsibilities:Relationship Manager will prepare credit proposals of syndicated and bilateral corporate loans, loans secured by domestic branch and support credit analysis for customers’ financial service needs including managing customer databases and relevant documentation to facilitate accurate and efficient execution of loansAttend business meetings, prepare meeting minutes, meeting agendas, and presentation materials for clientsRelationship Manager will assist Department Head and other relationship managers in portfolio management, credit packages, and assigned projectsPrepare monthly reports to Head Office and/or relevant departments with all related business activity/volume requiredObtain KYC related information and coordinate with clients or agents. Set up customer IDRelationship Manager will prepare required annual reviews and credit-related reports on assigned accounts to ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and internal credit policiesProvide excellent customer service and assist in opening new accounts for clients and maintain necessary documents for all operations and maintain effective relationships with clientsMaintain an updated deal information database and related reportsAssist Department Head in arranging credit facilities, participate in client meetings and prepare marketing materials for new clients and prospective clientsSuccessfully complete the mandatory annual Branch BSA/AML trainingUndertake any other relevant duties assigned by the Department Head from time to timeRelationship Manager Requirements:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics or other business related fieldRecent College graduate to 1+ years relevant industry experience, corporate lending / customer relationship. Experience and knowledge in trade finance is a plus.Syndication Loan knowledge or experience is a plusDemonstrates understanding of corporate banking products and credit analysis a plusUnderstanding of accounting principles and financial statement analysis a plusGood internal and external client marketing and service skills, including strong written and interpersonal communication skills.Team playerStrong business problem solving skills with strong customer orientation
