Relationship Manager – Corporate Banking (Mandarin Speaker)

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAEWe are currently partnering with a reputable international bank in Abu Dhabi to recruit a Relationship Manager for its Corporate Banking team.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in Mandarin and English, with experience in corporate banking, client relationship management, and business development.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective corporate clients, particularly Chinese-speaking clients and businesses.Identify new business opportunities and support corporate portfolio growth.Assist with client onboarding, KYC, account opening, annual credit reviews, and credit limit assessments.Prepare credit proposals and support corporate financing and relationship management activities.Understand clients’ business needs and provide appropriate banking solutions.Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and banking procedures.Conduct market research and identify opportunities to expand the bank’s corporate client base.Support post-sales activities, including covenant monitoring, documentation, and annual reviews.Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Investment Banking and other business units, to deliver comprehensive financial solutions.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum 3 year of experience in Corporate Banking, Relationship Management, or a similar role within a financial institution.Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English, both written and spoken.Good understanding of corporate banking products, credit analysis, KYC, and regulatory requirements.Strong client relationship management, communication, and negotiation skills.Commercial mindset with the ability to identify and develop business opportunities.Experience dealing with Chinese corporate clients or cross-border business is an advantage.Professional banking or finance certifications are an advantage.
