Relationship Manager – Corporate Deposits | Corporate Banking

Job Summary:We are looking for a results-driven Relationship Manager – Corporate Deposits to acquire, manage and grow deposit relationships with corporate clients and high net worth individuals. You will own a sector-diversified deposit portfolio, deliver agreed targets and act as a trusted financial partner to your clients.

Key Responsibilities

Build plans to manage client relationships, anticipate deposit needs and offer tailored solutions that grow deposit accounts.Identify and target corporate clients and HNWIs with strong deposit potential.Actively source new deposit clients and keep a well-spread portfolio across sectors, reviewed regularly.Visit clients at their premises to understand their business, financial needs and market trends, and prepare visit reports with proposed actions.Maintain regular contact with key clients to remain their financial partner of choice and generate sustainable deposit revenue.Deliver agreed KPIs and deposit targets for existing and new clients.Negotiate deposit transactions on behalf of the Company, protecting and enhancing its interests.Identify and execute cross-sell opportunities that embed the Company’s products with the client.Manage turnaround times for all transactions in line with service level agreements, with a high standard of customer experience.Prepare deposit applications for entry into Finacle.Prepare a monthly business enhancement plan with follow-up actions to meet targets set by the AVP – Deposits.Prepare reports, analysis and MIS on existing and prospective clients, covering industry, management structure and financial analysisTrack developments in the local banking and financial environment to spot deposit opportunities.Support the development, launch and promotion of new Islamic products and services.Provide corporate advice to clients to strengthen relationships and create future deposit opportunities.

Requirements

Minimum 6 years’ relevant experience in banking or finance, including at least 3 years in corporate finance.Proven record of meeting deposit or liability targets.Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills.Ability to analyse financial statements and prepare client reports.Experience with Finacle or a similar core banking system (preferred).Knowledge of Islamic banking products (preferred).Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or a related field (MBA preferred).
