Department: Client Engagement and OriginationRole SummaryThe Relationship Specialist is responsible for originating and managing client relationships across our corporate and institutional client base in the UAE and wider GCC.

The role holder will assess client funding requirements, position transactions with our network of banks, private credit funds and non-bank lenders, and manage mandates through to completion.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and engage prospective clients across the Large Corporate, Mid-Sized Corporate and SME segments through direct outreach, referrals, industry networks and market mapping.Build and maintain a qualified pipeline of funding opportunities across all three segments.Conduct client meetings to assess the business model, capital structure, cash cycle and underlying funding requirement.Review financial statements, management accounts and supporting documentation to form an initial commercial assessment.Determine appropriate facility structures across working capital, trade finance, receivables finance, term debt and structured facilities, tailored to the size and profile of the client.Prepare client summaries, requirement briefs and indicative proposals for internal review.Negotiate indicative terms in coordination with senior management and manage client expectations on pricing, tenor and security.Act as principal relationship owner throughout the mandate lifecycle and monitor existing clients for renewals and incremental requirements.Maintain accurate pipeline records and prepare client activity reports for senior management.Ensure all client engagement complies with internal policies and applicable KYC and AML requirements.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Economics or a related discipline.Minimum 4 years of client-facing experience in banking or financial services.Prior experience in corporate banking, business banking, SME banking, commercial banking, trade finance or credit is essential.Sound understanding of corporate banking products and credit assessment principles.Ability to interpret financial statements and form an independent commercial view.Familiarity with UAE banking practice, documentation standards and regulatory requirements.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Preferred: Established network of banking relationships in the UAE, exposure to structured or project finance, experience in an advisory or arranger environment, Arabic language proficiency.How to ApplySend your updated CV to jobs@graystonefs.com, quoting "Relationship Specialist, Client Engagement" in the subject line.
