Reliability Manager

Role Description The Reliability Manager is a part-time role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some work from home. The role involves overseeing reliability programs for silicon wafers and fabrication processes, including defining reliability test plans, monitoring performance metrics, and conducting root cause analysis for failures. The Reliability Manager partners with cross-functional teams to improve equipment uptime, production yield, and product reliability, while ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal policies. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing reliability data, preparing reports and recommendations, coordinating corrective and preventive actions, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing and engineering. The role also includes mentoring team members on reliability best practices and participating in audits and customer reviews as needed.QualificationsStrong background in reliability engineering, quality engineering, or semiconductor process engineering.Experience with failure analysis, root cause investigation, and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).Knowledge of reliability test methods, statistical analysis, and reliability modeling tools.Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing, silicon wafer processing, or microelectronics fabrication.Ability to interpret technical drawings, process documentation, and industry standards.Proficiency with data analysis software and office productivity tools (e.g., Excel, statistical packages, reporting tools).Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multicultural teams.Organizational and time-management skills suited to a part-time, hybrid working environment.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Materials, Mechanical, Industrial) or a related technical field.Prior experience in reliability or quality roles in semiconductor or advanced manufacturing is highly beneficial.
